A warm welcome in Torquay

From the moment we arrived, Berta and Ed made us feel like part of the family. The breakfast was a delightful surprise, with pre-ordered options that included homemade items, ensuring each morning started with a fresh and hearty meal. Our family room was spacious, allowing us to relax without feeling cramped. The location was another bonus, just a short stroll to the seafront and local attractions.

While parking was certainly a challenge due to tight spacing, the street outside did provide additional options. There were also minor issues with the room door that needed some effort to close properly. these were quickly addressed by the accommodating staff.

We truly appreciated the hosts' warm hospitality and their thoughtful engagement with our baby, which made us feel at home. The breakfast variety exceeded our expectations and was a delightful way to start our days.

Parking arrangements are frustratingly tight!!! Maneuvering in and out is a challenge due to poor spacing!!! Room amenities could use clearer specifications!!! Stale doggy odor wafted through the common areas—quite off-putting!!!

Westbank in Torquay exceeded my expectations. The cleanliness stood out, with spotless rooms that felt welcoming. I truly enjoyed the breakfast options, especially the freshly prepared fruit salad and the variety available on the menu. Berta and Ed were incredibly warm and helpful, providing great local tips for my family outings. The location was convenient, just a short walk from the beach and central attractions. the on-site parking was a bit tight, making it a challenge to maneuver. the fridge in our family room was quite noisy, which was a minor inconvenience. Despite these small issues, I felt safe and appreciated the caring atmosphere.

My walk to the harbour was pleasurable and offered a chance to soak in Torquay’s charm.
